Dr. Kathleen Kennedy, O.D.
A native Californian, Dr. Kathleen Kennedy was born in Berkeley and received her bachelor's degree with honors from UCLA in 1983. She received her doctorate in optometry from UC Berkeley in 1988.
Dr. Kennedy was chosen for the Young Optometrist of theYear award by the California Optometric Association, as well as 20/20 magazine's Best and Brightest award. Dr. Kennedy is a proud member of the Castro Lions, and is past president of the San Francisco Optometric Society. Licensed to treat many eye diseases, including pink eye and allergies, Dr. Kennedy genuinely cares about your eye health.
When not in the office, Dr. Kennedy enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her son.
Dr. Tonya Watson, O.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Tonya Watson received her optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She was a Beider Scholar and graduated with both Clinical and Research Honors. After optometry school, Dr. Watson completed a residency in pediatrics and primary care at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Dr. Watson recently received a Ph.D. in Vision Science from UC Berkeley. For her dissertation, she worked on several projects to better understand cerebral visual impairment. In addition to working at For Your Eyes Only, Dr. Watson also currently works at UC Berkeley researching neurological recovery in patients with brain injury. Dr. Watson enjoys bringing the latest research advancements to clinical care. She looks forward providing you with the best eye care possible in a fun, friendly environment.
